HORAYYYY! So I finally got to the final stages of the shirt printing process. I have been perfecting the designs and making sure they are correct in sizing and pixels for the BasementInk guys. It has been a lot of back and forth communication.
Stopped by BasementInk yesterday and talked to the guys and we are almost set to go. The designs are set and all that is left before printing starts is the t-shirt selection. They said since it is a one color print that I can experiment with different t-shirt types. Along with regular tees, I'm gonna do a woman's cut tee and some tank tops as well.
I'm pretty stoked about this. It is the first shirt of my line and it looks sick!
This is my last term here at SOU. It is a bitter sweet experience. I have a case of senioritis...i have been lazy and slacking. So it is time to get my ISH together.
For my special projects I wanna continue with my previous project in making shirts. I have a few designs I would like to start making. I also hope to maybe get a website up this time. That is a big maybe. I'm gonna shoot low so I won't be disappointed :o)
The intramural softball season is gonna start soon. The Hawaii team is gonna sport my first t-shirt. You should come an check it out!
Today we went to watch the preview for the Ashland Film Festival. The animation bit "Guard Dog" by Bill Plympton was great. It has this dark ironic humor about a dog trying to protect his master from random creatures and things, when in fact he ends up hurting his master. The awkwardness of the drawings made it even more humurous and the color pencil look was great. take a look...visit:
